SARA Sharpness sightings 25/11/12

With the flooding the canal has been turned all muddy and the river was at high tide and it was rainy so not a lot of birds sighted.

                                                       4 mallard ducks

• 1 great crested grebe
• 3 coots
• 7 mallard ducks
• A few chaffinches
• 6 Carrion crows
• Lots of herring gulls
• A few Lesser black backed gulls
• Alot of Black headed gulls
• 1 great spotted woodpecker calling in the wooded area
• 1 cormarant flew past
• 1 Gold crest

• 50+ Herring gulls
• 50+ black headed gulls
• 1 great black backed gull
• 10+ lesser black backed gulls
• 10+ house sparrows
• 1 redshank
• 3 cormarants
