- 30+ house sparrow
- 40+ Starlings
- 30+ wood pigeons
- Several gull species including mostly common and black headed gulls which all together added up to at least 50.
- 40+ jackdaws
- 30+ rooks
- 30+ carrion crows
- 40+ blue tits- More in bigger flocks in the evening whereas in the morning they were being sighted singly.
- 4 magpies
- 10 great tits
- 1 long tailed tit
- 1 kestrel- on the wires again
- 15 collard doves
- 7 chaffinches
- 8 gold finches
- 10 ferel pigeons
- 2 CORMORANTS- flew over together. This year there's been a big difference in numbers than last year as there was roughly half the amount.
- 1 MISTLE THRUSH- by the scout hut in one of the trees but it flew off towards the tree it was in on the 14th.
- 60+ FIELDFARE- flying from the berry bushes and to the trees by the river.
- 40+ REDWING- Lots in the berry bushes but they were too quick to fly when they saw other people.
- 1 LITTLE EGRET- Not rare at all but its the first of the winter
- 1 JAY- This individual has been in the garden, on the other side of the town, sighted on this walk as well as feeding in several trees.
- 40+ Blackbirds- a big influx possibly because it was in the morning but unusual numbers.
- 5 GOLD CREST- together feeding frantically throughout the berry trees. Because they were so active photos were hard to take (16:00)
- 1 GREAT SPOTTED WOODPECKER- Calling
On the 14/11/12 the woodpecker was identified as a GREEN WOODPECKER which isn't usually sighted on the walk and around the town.
