18/11/12 Autumn walk sightings THRUSHES

A great walk with lots of THRUSHES which are mostly migrants but a few residents. The migrants in the list below are birds like the fieldfare, redwing and even the resident blackbirds, gold crest and misle thrushes. The residents may migrant from other countries such as in the north of Europe which the thrushes are only found in the summer and not the winter. This year there have been many influxes of birds such as in the UK theres been a huge influx of waxwings which are usually sighted on the east coast but some have been sighted in Cardiff (Wales) and as far south a the Scilly isles.Gold crest were sighted en masse on the east coast of the UK when strong winds stranded them inland. This year i've noticed a huge influx of gold crest alone the River Severn and for places like the back of the garden which has had 30+, Oldbury Power Station with 30+ and the autumn walk with 10+ has been a big difference compared to last year when I didn't see any in the Autumn period.
Also there has been the national influx of jays which last year I didn't see any in the town but this year i've seen more than 5 whereas Hunstanton (Norfolk) had 500 in one day because of this strange eastly influx.
With the waxings been seen throughout the country will there be one sighted in the town I live in?
