14/11/12 sightings from the Autumn walk which I did today.

I went back on the Autumn walk which I went on last month but today there was lots of different birds compared to last time and these are the birds I saw:

  • 3 male blackbirds and a female
  • 40+ starlings
  • 10+ house sparrows
  • 3 chaffinches
  • 4 blue tits
  • 1 kestrel
  • 30+ jackdaws
  • 10+ carrion crows
  • 20+ wood pigeons
  • 10+ ferel pigeons
  • 3 pied wagtials
  • 2 magpies
  • 4 collard doves
  • 30+ rooks
  • Woodpecker species heard but not identified. 1st thoughts green but it might have been the greater spotted which has been sighted from the garden.
  • 100+ Gulls flying over included black headed, common and herring gulls
  • 20+ Gold finches in a flock together. Also quite a few flew over.
  • 10+ REDWING feeding in some berry bushes and then they got scared so they joined the mistle thrushes
  • 2 MISTLE THRUSHES in a tall tree calling to each over.
  • 6 CORMARANTS flying together.
