24/11/12 garden sightings

In the morning for roughly an hour it was over cast with no rain. After that hour the rain was consistent and lots of birds were sighted before as a result of the nice start and I counted 26 different species all day.

• 5+ chaffinches
• 20+ jackdaws
• 3 magpies
• 30- 40 house sparrows
• 1 robin
• 4 blackbirds- 2 adult females and 2 adult males. No 1st winters today
• 30+ blue tit
• 20+ great tits
• 30+ starlings
• 4 wood pigeons
• 3 collard doves
• 7 Long tailed tits quickly flying and feeding together through every tree.
• 15+ Redwing- feeding together in a holly bush and only 1 landed in the berry bush
• 1 Jay- Brief
• 4+ Gold crests- calling together

Flying over
